And just trying to stay up to date with Google is constantly changing now with them and trying to figure out what works today and how to keep that traffic coming in.

Ok, okay. Because yeah, s E O is, is pretty interesting to me while I'm on my digital marketing quest to conquer the, the Internet.

What, what got you interested in building a business around search engine optimization. And you know, who were the customers that you were trying to to reach when you 1st started out And I kind of just fell into it after I graduated from college.

Got my degree in business marketing. And one of the 1st jobs i got was working at a company, helping them out with their digital marketing and was doing pretty much everything,

doing their c O. 2 in social media doing email marketing, doing paid ads and even taking pictures of products for the website and back them kind of this in 2007 realize that I was gonna have a website in the future and I see okay,

to get free traffic and just kind of stuck with it ever since and just realized that Yeah, why pay google or facebook or any other websites to get you up there when you get up there for free without spending money yet to invest your time,

which is money, but at least you get that visibility and you get that long term visibility, because without seo, you stop doing that. failure is still the ranking on top of Google for a while to competitors outright.

You but you're spending money on ad me stop sending money on ads. You're just gone. It just goes away because it's not organic. I get it.

I mean, well, you have about 131415 years of experience. And what, what was there an intensive learning process to become proficient as c O, consultant?

Yeah, definitely took a lot of trial and error and testing and seeing what works and what doesn't work and just reading in different forms or taking classes and watching videos.

Just china learn as much as possible and test along the way to see if like your reading or watching is actually accurate. Because what works today doesn't always work tomorrow.

So that's the one thing. You can read all these different talk tactics, but it might not necessarily still work. So go out to trial and error trying to figure out what really still does work versus what people I putting out there.

Right? What will, how has c O evolved from 2007 to now it may come a lot tougher doc to do is pretty easy, less competition and goals algorithm of sophisticated.

Now there's a lot more competition. I mean, almost everyone has a website, so yeah, touch it. You got a lot more people that you're fighting against because we're not really trying to be google.

We're just trying to be doing the best f E O is going to get to the top. So now we have to look at the competitors and figure out what they focus on,

which is what google is good content and saying, good quality back links to more important things that movie up those rankings is really quality over quantity. All right,

well, well, what do you commonly see with your website, your platform, operating clients, you know, having issues with when it comes to solving their,

their s E O problems. What, what, what, what do you commonly come across with their problems? Other number one issue is that we will pay merrily back links,

usually getting good quality sites coming to you because back things are the most important thing for google without back links impossible rank on Google. So google started based off that makes this change a lot,

have a look at them, but it's really based on getting other websites to talk to you. And that's a tricky thing is like, how do you get other websites to talk about to try different ways you could do it like a competitors backlink and not him.

And you could also start blogging on other websites, 85. Yeah. Usually website, you can kind of building relationships with those websites and thing if you give them some content for free and that's usually a safe way to go backlink.

But you've got to be careful because if you've got the wrong type of backlink allows you to do more harm than good, which is the last thing you want to happen is someone johnson got in writing.

So you gotta make sure you got a good quality back links and good quality back links. Me mean drove a website. Like if you're a doctor and you're having mechanically out to you that might look real shades,

google can get out to a doctor like a doctor should have like a web m D or something related to health and wellness. That would make more sense.

So just making sure back going to what you're doing is really important. Exactly, exactly what will after you do some digging on some clients and you see their website history in this strategy.

Do you find that sometimes they weren't really open with you about the results they were getting before they may, you Know too often be usually they're just like I did figure this out and they're happy to tell me everything that's gone on.

If things have been we're, they've done things in the past that they knew they should've done, I'm everything is out and open if you know where to look so I can always see that stuff and I usually tell them before,

because I get to see everything, give her tools to look back links such as like my eyes are a transfer, summarize get really see everything they've done.

Nothing was nowhere to look right. Ok. Well, when you 1st started out, when you 1st started in the business, we're course supporters that really wanted you to shine as seo optimizer is dot com and you know,

move, move forward with what you're doing. Now. Definitely my family pushing it as much as possible and trying to help me out as much as possible to try to grow and even building into a company and took a while of working full time job to do an SEO and working this on the side.

But eventually build it up and get a level where I could stay myself and not have to have that full time job and make this my popularity. But definitely having support a family and friends,

how's, how's the baby diaper business st. You these days? Well, it is a very competitive industry, but nonetheless, there is space and room to grow.

But thank you God, of having me truly honored and I do not take this opportunity lightly. So let's get into it. Ok. Ok. Well,

what inspired you to get into the type of business in particular, you know, just share some stories with one of the lead. So I can, I'll do a timeline here.

So the pen to me, so 2021. Excuse me, 2020. I got sent home to work to work from home and which was a blessing for me.

I got to spend more time with my daughter and bond. And then also just kind of reflect on my family matters. I am a single mom and you know,

it just, it just gave me time to really reflect on how I got to where I was in to, you know, kind of rearrange some things and,

and put me and my daughter in a, in a better position. But that, you know, but that was one thing. But as we move on to the middle of the year,

you know, the unfortunate an untimely death of george florida murder, i should say, happened. And I was, I was pretty much triggered at this point because,

you know, of all of the unjust, you know, police killing of our brothers, our fathers in the black community. You know, and I'm in a,

I live in the city where, you know, treyvon was murdered. The emotions running high at this point. I didn't like what they were staying, especially when I found out that george floyd was a father.

And, you know, I could think about was, you know, his daughter not coming home to a father and I'm like, well, it could be me,

you know, I could have made, it could happen to my child products. So I was like, man, I really want it to create a brand that one for takes families in particularly or 1st black families.

And so would that send to me by the end of the that's when I started to, you know, pick the business name, do the research, but by the end of 2020 we found out like who was really disproportionately affected right during the pandemic.

So it was women and then it was women of color, black community we, we were just going through it at this point. And so, you know,

I was moved by a you tube video where a mother went into walmart to the and the shell. I've never seen the show. No one has ever seen the shelves that empty.

Right. I mean, it was the size that she wanted to buy. She couldn't buy and you know, so this was widespread, right? Because if you have the money,

you're going to panic by and you're going to stock up, right? But for those who don't have that money, you know, they were left to either buy diaper that was too small,

too big, or it's been more of their budget then they needed to write and maybe use a brand that necessarily didn't work right for their beta. We're talking about the brand,

you know what, you know, and take up most of the, you know, most of the, the shelf space in retail. So with that being said,

I was like, you know, you know, we need brands that are connected with the community, right? Because honestly, should never happen, your 1000000000 dollar company industry.

Right. And you run out of product or you know, your customers, some of your customers are disproportionately affected and you're not doing them hand right. It's never right.

It should be on your heart. You should be your mission, right? So I want it to, you know, not only provide you know, affordable and provide access to quality good.

But also want it to be a brand cares, right? That serves. So, but that's what inspired me to, to really move forward and really be connected with the what the community and the needs of the community.

Okay. Ok. Well, what was some of those challenges that you, you had to overcome just to just to get people to, you know, see you and see a product and see what you had to offer.

So I, let me see, it was, it was, I would say it is, it was very hard for me to try to convince people to buy into a brand,

right? Or notice a brand or keep in mind of a brand that where we didn't have a product, right? So, you know, I had to be confident as a business owner,

say man, I could do this like what I have. What I'm going to offer, you know, is, is, is big and it's what's needed,

right? And so, you know, in whenever you're starting a business like so what if you don't have the product, like even if you have to prototype,

i read article of a business strategist in theory entrepreneur. And she said, who cares, put it out there. Let people know that you know, this is it,

or this is coming. And so I had to be confident in that and say, hey, you know, I, you know, I'm the CEO of elo puppy and I'm starting a black own type of brand.

You know, here's the sample, try us out. Even though you know, you don't know when the, the business loan is going to clear. You don't know when the business credit cards are going to increase to be able to launch this product.

You just want to get it out there and pray to God that they remember you or still have, you know, to have babies in diapers by the time you do fully launch.

So that was one of the challenges to really have people believing in this brand before the product actually came out. Another thing is access to capital, right?

You know, that minority lack that and all of minorities, but excuse me, the black community we like that the most. Right. And so, you know,

this is not something where you can throw The 5 grand know you need exact. Exactly. So, you know, if we had to go back to the drawing board,

i was going to launch it for mine. So when I say for line, I just mean you know sizes why? So newborn decides 5, and we're going to the wife as well.

So a little puppet was opposed to the subscription base. But because, you know, when the pandemic happened, and, you know, I was getting prices quoted back in 2020,

but when 2021 came around and I'm like, okay, I'm ready. Like the, the fright talk, the loan had more than doubled. I was like what I'm talking about,

you know, it went from, you know, not single digit, but yet single digit thousands to, you know, to double digit. So, you know,

it was just like, whoa, so I had to go back to the drawing board and so now we're offering, or we have to offer a trial pack.

Right? And I think it's much better. This is the pricing to the sensitive market. And so, you know, you want to be able to offer a product,

at least would they're comfortable enough to try and, you know, I'm okay with that as a business owner. Like at least try us out. That way.

When we like, when we do fully launch, we think you'll be confident in you know, switch over. Yeah. Yeah. Ready? Yeah. So so is that,

So what, what is your, what is your current way that you market the brain and I know you're doing a little, the social linear, you're doing some events and you recently had an appearance on a TV show tv program where the interview so yeah,

We sure. Do we sure do things are great. It's great to speak with you again and you know, it's opening day here. And so many new things and positive things for us.

So we're happy to get underway today. All right, well, well 1st off, how did you have you come up with the vision or where did it come from?

Where the vision come from to come up with a faster version of hi ally and branded team concept that you know more fans would be attracted to. Well,

we were told basically by the people that were watching and especially some of the younger audience that we needed to find a way to speed up the game, make the points go faster and that's really what led us to the smaller court.

And it also, you know, makes the reaction time of the players that much faster. And with the ball going a 125 miles an hour, you know,

the fastest ball sport in the world. It, it ups the danger level as well. So are everything sorta pointed to us trying to, it's fast and furious to start with and now it's just even more dangerous.

And then as far as the team concept, that was another thing where it's sort of, we're trying to determine how we could mainstream the sport and make it more fan friendly.

And everyone was always talking about, you know, people love to route for teams. Right? So we were like, all right, well, you know,

we could take the roster that we have and we could create teams and that's exactly what we did. We have a com squads and we have 4 squads with 6 layers on each water and you know,

their own uniforms and their own nicknames and a lot of cash up for grabs. And then the 2 teams with the most points over the next 8 weeks are going to play off in a championship game.

And there's just over these 8 weeks about $75000.00 up for grabs. So players have a lot to play for and we think it's going to be exciting for the fence as well.

Ok. Ok. Well well, how are you able to determine which player was going to be on? Which squad? So what we did is we tried to make the squads as evenly balanced as we could.

We took all the players and we divided them into 6 groups, the, the best for and then the next best for the next best for all the way down.

So we had 6 groups with the best 4 players left in each group. And then I had an 8 time highlight world champion. Look at the look at the slides we had created and then our one of our announcer's $29.00 and who's been,

you know, broadcasting highlight involved in the highlight industry for 30 plus years. I had him look it over and we really tried to come up with the most balanced line ups that we could.

And we think we have 4 very competitive teams that are going to be playing singles and doubles against each other. And they're all sorta fired up to go for this prize money.

And so we'll see what unfolds here over the next 8 weeks. Ok, okay, well, what do you think that that on the front times will adopt you new battle court version of the game?

While we've already been contacted by the International federation that overseas highlight or pollute, as they call it in spain, and they're coming over to visit with us in March.

So we've expanded to 28 overall players. And these guys have been practicing now for the past about 6 weeks on their, on their teams, on their squads.

And so everybody's getting to know everybody. And we've got a real international roster of 2 players from mexico to, from the Philippines to, from france in about 7 from spain and the rest are homegrown here in the U.

S. So very international roster and we're looking forward to it. Wow, yeah, an exciting mixon exciting balance there will will. Will the National highlight championships be in November this year or will they come after the cycle?

The U. S. championships are going to be in August and then in August and then in October we're going to have what we call the world super court,

which will be double championships featuring players for around the world. And it's just going to be the best 8 teams in the world and we're having qualifying tournaments for that.

So we're looking forward to the U. S. championships in August and the world doubles championships in October. Wow, wow. You have 2 sets of championships going,

hey, can't be that long as people, you know, stay tuned in and keep watching and you know, become part of, again, you know,

that's, that's what I'm looking for. And on the global scale, do you feel highlight, the highlight community will, will adopt, you know, every fraud time will adopt the h 2 H battle core format.
