In recognition of June 19, 1865 “S.W.E.E.T. Potato Society Inc Presents our 3rdAnnual Juneteenth Celebration & Masquerade Ball Scholarship and Fundraiser.
Juneteenth is a festival held annually on the nineteenth of June by African Americans (especially in the southern states), to commemorate emancipation from slavery in Texas on that day in 1865. CT being 1 of the next States.
We extend to you an invitation to join us as we welcome our keynote speakers .........The event will be held Friday, Sat & Sunday June 17-19, 2022 at The Holiday Inn Ball rooms, 35 Gov. Winthrop BLVD, New London, CT from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Music will provided Project along with showing of art from local artists, Venders. Tickets are $55.00 per person. S.W.E.E.T Potato Society appreciates your support for this and upcoming events. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Continuing Education of the Challenge Me Scholarship.
